The Town of Yacolt Council is seeking applicants to fill the vacancy of Council Seat 2. This is an appointed council position that will hold office until the December 2027 general election and, if interested and qualified, could run for election at that time. There will be a special filing period to apply for this position for the 2027 general election to be announced at a later date.
Applications will be accepted starting November 12, 2025 until 4:00 pm December 7, 2025. Applicant interviews, Council decision, and appointee swear-in is expected to take place at the December 8, 2025 Council Meeting.
