This year's Parade promises to be the biggest and best yet, in celebration of America's 250th Birthday!
The Parade will begin at 10:am, starting at RR Ave and W Hoag St, continuing up Hoag to W Yacolt Rd, then west to Amboy Ave and will end in back of Yacolt Primary School. Get your family a spot along the route and wave those flags to cheer on our participants - and don't forget a bag to load up all that candy in!
For Parade Participants: Parade Check-in will be in front of Yacolt Primary beginning at 8:00 am. Line-up will begin at W Hoag and RR Ave. Participants must leave a lane open for emergency vehicles to get through! Following the parade, awards will be presented at the school parking lot for the following categories: Most Patriotic, Most Original, Best Animal Entry, Best Performance Entry, Mayor's Choice, and Overall Judges' Choice. After the Parade, please join us at and around Yacolt's Central Park for all kinds of fun family activities including the highly anticipated Sidewalk Chalk Art Contest, Vendor Market, Watermelon-Eating Contest, Kids' Zone, Yard Games, Train Rides (1pm, 2:30pm, and 4pm), etc. The night will finish off with fireworks at the Ballfields. Ahhhh, the perfect 4th of July!!
