County Seeks Participants in Their Community Needs Assessment

Clark County is working on its triennial Community Needs Assessment (CNA) which will help Clark County and the Community Action Advisory Board better understand the needs of those who are struggling financially in our community and prioritize funding for anti-poverty services. Beyond county funding and policy, this assessment provides information on the landscape of poverty in Clark County and is shared publicly and used broadly by local organizations in their program development and grant application processes.  The data collected through the survey is confidential and will be incorporated into Clark County's Community Needs Assessment that will be completed by May 2027 and distributed throughout the community. More information about the Community Needs Assessment as well as copies of the most recent version completed in 2024 can be found on the Clark County website here: https://clark.wa.gov/community-services/community-needs-assessment-overview.

The first, largest, and most important part of the CNA is gathering feedback from people who are struggling financially through a confidential Survey of Needs. The survey is open now through March 31, 2026.

You can help even more by spreading the word with family, friends, and neighbors within Clark County, and encouraging them to participate in the survey.

The survey is available in 5 different languages.
